Virtual Race

Can’t make it on race day but still want the experience? Invite your friends from around town, the state, or even the country and take part in the virtual Lake Monona 20k or 5k. Throw on your event shirt, lace up your shoes, and run whenever and wherever you want! Don’t forget to use the official RaceJoy app to make it feel like you’re right there with us on race day! Once you finish make sure you take a picture of yourself with that hard earned medal and share it on social media to show off your accomplishment!

Virtual Race Packet

Virtual participants will have until April 25th to register for the race and receive a race packet. Any virtual participants that register after this date will not receive a race packet but will still be able to virtually complete the race and submit their times using RaceJoy.

Posting Results

You can post your results from Saturday, May 7th, 2022 12:00am CDT to Sunday, May 15th, 2022 11:59pm CDT. Participants in the 20k and 5k will be able to use the RaceJoy App (click here to see RaceJoy App information) to record your virtual results. Your time will be automatically uploaded to the results page when you enter your bib number assigned the week before the race. Click here to view 2021 race results. If you're not using RaceJoy or had troubles submitting your time using the app, you can also manually submit your run or walk at the top of the results page. Just click on the "Submit Virtual Results" button between Friday, April 30th and Sunday, May 9th, look up your registration, and enter your time. Not in it for the competition? You can also mark that you completed the event without submitting a time while logging your results!
